“Brun” is French for brown.  Brown because majority of Filipinos have brown beautiful skin. Brown is the color of the most aromatic coffee and irresistible chocolate.  Brown is the color of perfectly cooked dishes.  Brown is the color of the earth. Brown is non-threatening, rustic, confident, unpretentious, approachable, uncomplicated, down-to-earth and yet remaining classy.  Brown is adventurous but it can be homely as well. Brown does not hesitate to get dirty if the need arises. Brown can be sexy and kinky but smooth. Brown is so many good things and now it is the name of the latest online magazine about the arts, culture, politics, entertainment, fashion, food, travel, lifestyle and almost everything under the sun. Brun will also donate part of its earnings to progressive charities so the more visitors we have, the greater the possibility of having advertisers. More advertisers mean more earnings that we can donate to charities.  

 

“Brun” is managed by Red Clown Production & Publishing.  Our current editor-in-chief is Rob San Miguel.  Official launch was on May 1, 2013.  Brun officially closed on February 18, 2017.
